The courses of this department combine expertise in electrical machinery, electronics and information, focusing on the following directions:

The department has ample space of 3,844 square meters and has multiple national-level skill certification examination rooms to help students obtain "high-value" workplace certificates before graduation:
  • Electric power and industrial wiring: There are national Class A and B license examination rooms.
  • Indoor wiring, refrigeration and air-conditioning decoration: There are national B and C certificate examination rooms.

一、侨生发生紧急事件应如何通报？另有关赔偿金等问题，除了教官的帮助外，可否有专业法律或是权益上的协助？

  1. 侨生如不幸发生车祸等紧急事件，除由学校侨辅工作人员第一线协助外，侨务委员会设有24小时「紧急事件通报专线」电话(0910-152-035)，提供必要之协助。亦订有「海外回国就学侨生医疗急难及丧葬慰问金发给要点」，凡在学侨生在台湾地区具有因伤病住院医疗，造成经济之重大负担或死亡等，可由学校核转侨务委员会(承办窗口: (02)2327-2812)申请慰问金。

  2. 至于法律协助方面，可先经由辅导教官、侨辅工作人员洽请校方法律系所专业教师协助；另据悉司法院捐助成立之财团法人法律扶助基金会可提供弱势民众免费法律服务，该基金会服务对象除台湾人民外，包括合法入境来台读书、工作或观光之人士，惟必须由当事人向该会预约申请，基金会将视个案指派律师提供法律意见。侨生如有需求，亦可向该基金会申请法律扶助，以协助确保权益。
